Classical Music Concert

Classical Music Concert

The Rotary Club of Paddington proudly presented an unforgettable evening of classical music: ANNIKA KASCHENZ – Mezzo-Soprano /FRANCESCO ATTESTI – Piano. Annika and Francesco have had raving reviews wherever they have performed together. The concert was held at St. John’sChurch, Hyde Park Crescent, London, W2 2QD. We enjoyed a memorable concert with music by Schumann, Schubert, Liszt, Mozart, Verdi, Bizet and Chopin and others of our favourites. The event was a great success and was most enjoyable. The net income towards our Charity Account was in excess of £1500. These funds will be used to finance new projects in the new Rotary year. Part of the proceeds went towards charities supported by the Paddington Rotary Club, including the Westminster Voluntary Centre, Pimlico Puffins, Hampden Guerney School , Age Concern Westminster and others. Well done past president David Formosa and Sue for planning, underwriting, transporting and accommodating (and wining and dining) the performers. We are all very grateful for all your efforts on behalf of Paddington Rotary over the years. A very BIG thank you to all who supported last night's wonderful Paddington Rotary Charity concert at St. John's Church, Hyde Park Crescent. Paddington Rotarians were joined by family and friends. There were a number of local people as well as visiting Rotarians from Putney (Segun and Robert), Redbridge (Eve), Tottenham & Wood Green (Clive), and St Marylebone (Betty), to name a few.
